It doesn't seem that there is much activity on this website, but I am going to post anyway...trying to get into as many hiv/aids communities as possible.  I've been involved with HIV/AIDS issues now for over 10 years, have many friends LIVING with HIV.  My best friend, however, is being hospitalized currently with full blown AIDS :(.  I am trying to offer him as much support as possible.  I am in Santa Cruz and he is in L.A (wish I was closer)....I'm going to see him this coming weekend.  I'm scared.  He didn't even know he was HIV+...I know that if he can get through this (he has PCP pneumonia and active CMV) he has a chance at getting healthy again.  He wants to live...I love him more than anything in the world...so basically this is why I'm here.  Hi :)

So does anyone care to share where they are in terms of progression?  I have been positive since 2006, but only diagnosed since January.  Atm, my levels are good and therefore am foregoing treatment.  I am soon to be searching for a clinic in my area (since I've moved home) to help me with my tests.

What about support?  Does everyone have some kind of support system in place such as friends or family?  Or are you at it alone?  Blessings:)

Short intro on myself:)

My name is Iphin or Torey/T.  I am a 30-year-old bisexual male and I was diagnosed HIV+ January 31st of this year.  I suspect that I was infected in early summer of 2006.  I'm still going through the motions, but I am fortunate enough to have a supportive fiancee whom I love very much.

I hope that you all feel most at home here and PLEASE do not be afraid to post and speak:)  I am very amicable and I love everyone.  I feel truly blessed to be here...and though life can be very full of despair, I believe that it can also be full of light and love.

Blessings to you all and much love and hugs...
